On this recording, Bill is joined by pianist Jennifer Reason, Saxophonist Jerry Martini (a founding member of Sly and the Family Stone and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), vocalists Twanna Turner and Sherri Myers, bassists Jeff Young and Bluestopia's Brian Sweet, drummer and conga player Kirt Johnson, guitarist Robert Koehne, percussionist Shannon Lacy, and Mike Hopkins on harmonica.
Tracks 1-8 and 10 were recorded by David Van Degrift and Scott Foster at Gator Studios,in Vacaville, CA, while Track 9 was recorded at Sectional Studios in Los Angeles, CA. This track was produced by Twanna Turner, Brian Sweet, and Bill Wylie. Track 11 was recorded at the Highland Gardens Hotel, in Hollywood, CA.
